Project Lakewood was a new experience for our team for two reasons – it was not a new construction and it was not in the thin air of Colorado. The exciting challenge of this project in the Lakewood neighborhood of Dallas was to completely remodel an historic 1925 Tudor while maintaining the charm of the classic English architecture. Tudor arches and modern straight lines don’t exactly pair nicely but interestingly the distinctive near-black and white exterior colors of the era do feel rather modern. With the help of one of Lakewood’s top architects (W2 Studios) we believe we both modernized and maintained the original character of this beautiful home.
